Privacy

Short version: this is a one-person shop that needs your address to send you a board and your email to tell you it shipped. Nothing else is the point.

NorthBurnGoods is a trading name of Superior Stock LLC, a Wisconsin LLC. Contact: northburngoods@gmail.com.

What is collected

  • Order details — name, email, shipping address, phone if you give one, and the personalization you typed. Needed to make and send the board.
  • Payment — handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers are never sent to or stored on this site.
  • Email list — only if you enter your address yourself, and only until you unsubscribe.

Visitor statistics

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views from the same host as the shop rather than through a third party. It sets no cookies and creates no advertising identifier. Visitors are counted as a hash worked out from the request itself, and that hash is discarded after 24 hours, so there is no way to follow anyone from one visit to the next or onto any other website. Each page view records the page address, the referring site, the country and region, the browser, the operating system and whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop. It does not record your IP address.

Google Analytics is also used, to see which pages bring people to the shop and which ones lead to an order. Unlike the above, it does set cookies in your browser, and it is how Google reports traffic from its own search results back to this site. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored. You can refuse the cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, and the shop will work exactly the same — the only thing that changes is that this visit stops being counted.

What is not done with it

Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is not used to build a profile of you anywhere. The only third parties that touch it are the ones that have to: Stripe for payment, the statistics service named above and the carrier for delivery.
