What shipping costs
$8.00 for the first board, and $4.00 for every board after it — anywhere in the United States, tracked, with no threshold and no code to enter.
The second board costs less than the first because it goes in the same parcel. Postage rises with weight; boxes, packing and the trip to the post office do not. Ordering four boards costs $20.00 to ship rather than $32.00, and they arrive together.

Sales tax
Prices on this site are shown before sales tax. Tax is worked out at checkout from the address the board is going to, and it is shown to you there, before you pay — so the total on the payment page is the total.
How much it comes to depends where you live. Most states tax the boards and the delivery charge together; a few tax neither. Where we are not registered to collect, nothing is added, because tax cannot be handed to a state that is not expecting it.
Made to order, shipped in 3 days or less
Nothing here is pre-made, so the clock starts when you order rather than when a picker finds a box. Boards are engraved, packed and out the door in 3 days or less. Transit is on top of that and depends where you are — most US addresses land within a week of ordering.
If you are ordering against a date, say so in the order notes or email the shop. It is a one-person operation, which means a rush is often possible if it is asked for early, and impossible if it is asked for late.
Returns on a personalized item
A board with someone else's family name burned into it cannot be resold, so personalized orders are not returnable for a change of mind. That is the honest trade for made-to-order work, and it is why the engraving preview and the confirmation email exist — so the wording is checked twice before anything is permanent.
What is always covered:
- We engraved it wrong. If the board does not match what you confirmed, we remake it. No return needed, no cost to you.
- It arrived damaged. Send a photo within 14 days and we remake it.
- It never arrived. Tracking says delivered and it is not there — tell us and we will sort it out.
Before it goes on the laser, the personalization can be changed for any reason. Reply to your confirmation email and it is done.
International
This site ships within the United States. For international orders, use the Etsy shop, which handles customs and international delivery properly.
